I would love to have this as a feature so that when a card reaches a certain status on one board, it could automatically copy/populate on another board to start a secondary process.

Please do it, without this, cards are just fancy shapes/notes.

This would be so helpful! We are creating a strategy, roadmap and person-responsibility chart. All of these are basically different views on the same set of “activities” - there fore we would like to create shapes with these “activities” and clone them so one activity is in all - strategy, roadmap and person-responsibility chart. If one is edited, all clones would change. It is a pity that this is not possible in Miro, we are considering using a different tool because of this.

wow 4 years and still no movement. invaluable functionality for miro. may be the thing that gets us to move to figjam

Adding another vote for the object reference feature.  Adding object reference support to Miro would greatly enhance productivity. In planning sessions, certain objects/cards repeat across different views, like feature planning options, strategies, roadmaps. The ability to clone an object and have edits sync across all instances is essential. I've tried creating links to master cards, but it’s difficult to manage, slows down working sessions, and leads to inconsistencies. Please release this feature soon to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

Would love this feature. I make mostly moodboards for video games in miro, so I have a bunch of frames where I need the same kind of header for multiple. Suddenly I realize they all should have a larger font or be blue, and i takes a long time to select them all by hand.

I tried to use layers to fix it, but layers have some fundamental issues, so I’m not touching that until it’s getting developed further. One of the biggest issues being objects lose their connection to their frames, and this “default layer” is also annoying.

Also with links, if a link is lost, I have to update all the shapes with that link, it would be great to just update one shape with the link and all others are updated too.
