Basic editing of imported pictures

Hey Miro!

To reduce the amount of other tools I need to use when creating a Miro Board it would be super cool if we could edit imported picture (jpeg, png, ...). Important would be:

  • Flip pictures horizontally & vertically (so far it is only possible to turn them)
  • Increase / reduce transparancy: This is particularly imporant because often pictures are used as a background. If colours are to intense for example they distract from working on top of them.

Thanks for putting these incremental improvements on the list of your future changes!

Keep up doing great work, I am a biig fan.

Was it helpful?

I am absolutely in for the flipping of pictures! I always export them to other tools, flip them and import them back, that’s a real bugger!

Also setting white backgrounds to transparent would be awesome!

It’s been 2 years since this idea posted. I have developed an image editor for Miro. You can find it in Miro Marketplace https://miro.com/marketplace/tukar.

There is also a quick tutorial on YouTube
