I’ve just started working with Tables and Timelines. As I’m adding tasks for different departments, I can add a field/column with that list to chose from which provides a quick colored reference and supports grouping.
However, when I switch to Timeline view any visual color indicator is lost. It would be great if we could assign the color for the timeline bars in the side panel for the line item regardless of table or timeline view.
Bonus points for being able to tie the timeline bar color to one of the field values to make sure color selection is consistent between views.
