I have used the Tables (Beta) and really like the module, but I am as a user missing possibility to do the following in the the tables
with the above features I would definitely switch from Grid to Tables :)

Additionally, there's another existing idea for Add image to Card description. Because Tables are built by using Cards as rows in the table, that Wish List request would also solve for your second request here to be able to add images to Tables. I have been using the Table (beta) and would like to see the ability to expand cells at the row level. This would give the ability to make long text content, and multi-select components visible when the column width is narrow.
I love the table feature, so any improvements would just make it so much better.
