Extend Billing Group Privileges to Admin Roles

We’re excited about the new Admin Role capabilities, which offer greater flexibility in delegating permissions across our users. However, there’s a key limitation with the 'User Administrator' Admin Role that we’re facing internally.

We manage a single Enterprise Miro account, but each business division is responsible for covering the cost of their team’s licences. Thanks to the introduction of Billing Groups, we can now track and review the number of licences each team has procured.

To improve efficiency, we’re planning to delegate the responsibility of managing team licence requests to a “Miro Licence Owner” within each business division. This decentralised approach will give divisions the flexibility to track their past, current, and upcoming licence needs throughout the year, rather than relying on a centralised team.

However, there are three key limitations we’re facing with the current 'User Administrator' role:

  1. Miro Licence Owners cannot view the billing groups under the ‘Subscription’ section (including licence allocation and usage).
  2. They cannot edit the billing group information on individual users’ profiles.
  3. They cannot filter the active user list by billing group.

If these features were enabled as part of the Admin Role privileges, it would greatly improve how we track and manage licences across the entire business.

Was it helpful?
