Microsoft Loop is now GA and built into Teams.

Loop Components are being developed by Microsoft and 3rd party software companies are building innovative real-time components.

Loop components are now in Microsoft Whiteboard.

Supporting Loop Components in Miro would be a game changer and another compelling reason for Microsoft users to stay with Miro.

Was it helpful?

Agreed! A few days ago I opened up MS Whiteboard to poke around (to see if they are making any progress towards catching up).

Within a few moments I noticed “Loop Components” and was able to add a checklist to the whiteboard. Right away I imagined that these components would be available in Teams, Outlook, a Word document, etc. and how enticing this would be to MS365/Whiteboard users. Similar functionality in/an integration with Miro should be considered a fairly high priority.

I woke up in the night last night thinking about this! Hoping that when I got online this morning I’d learn that Miro had already figured it out.

I keep all assets (including meeting notes) for each project in a Miro board. How cool would it bee to just paste in a loop from the teams meeting.

I sure do hope this feature is in the works. 🤩

Hey Miro, any roadmap update on Miro Support for Microsoft Loop components?

NB. Now has Figma Integration

Microsoft Loop continues to evolve with new features and improvements.

Here are some of the latest updates:

1. Workspace Status: A new feature allows users to view a live feed of their workspace status, including tasks, memories, and recaps, making it easier to track project progress[3].

2. Table Enhancements: Loop now offers a detail view for tables, allowing users to add more information to specific rows without cluttering the main table view[5]. Additionally, table rules have been introduced, enabling users to set up notifications for specific changes in table data[5].

3. Custom Page Templates: Users can now create and use custom Loop page templates, streamlining the process of creating consistent content across projects[5].

4. View-Only Sharing: A new sharing option allows users to share Loop content in view-only mode, enhancing control over collaborative work[5].

5. Figma Integration: Loop now integrates with Figma, expanding its collaborative capabilities[5].

6. Collapsible Headings: This feature helps organize and declutter Loop pages[5].

7. Improved Comments: The commenting system in Loop has been enhanced for better collaboration[5].

8. OneNote Integration: Loop components are now integrated with OneNote for Web, improving note-taking and collaboration experiences[3].

These updates demonstrate Microsoft's commitment to actively developing Loop and providing long-term support for the platform[4].

Still keen on seeing some progress on this

Hello,
I’d love Miro to be the place that joins all the disconnected tools. Loop is the missing puzzle in my project board, and it’s a big one. It summarises the discussions that happen remotely on Teams. Loop notes are crucial to our projects. They’re the source of our action points, jira tickets, mockups, diagrams and so on. I can collate all these other puzzles on a Miro board, yet I lack the source where they originate from - the essence of the meeting - meeting notes.
