Hi Miro,

thank you so much for doing such a great job with developing such a practical app and also for being so open to feedback.

I have more than 10 years of experience in graphic design, including Adobe, Figma and Mural. I am pretty new to Miro but I know for a fact that in 2023, our team will be using it on a frequent basis in a global scale. So would love to kindly ask for some features in coming updates:

  • Send backward ctrl + PgDn
  • Bring forward ctrl + PgUp
  • Select locked items on top of each other with ctrl + shift + drag
  • Flip horizontally and vertically
  • Link to function for grouped items
Was it helpful?

Hi @Moj Kamali. Thanks for posting ðŸ˜Š

A few comments:

  • Send backward ctrl + PgDn
  • Bring forward ctrl + PgUp

There is already an shortcut to do this:

Move objects between foreground and background

All objects on the board are placed relatively on top of each other. Though layers are not currently supported in Miro, you may define the order of the objects by using the options Bring to front or Send to back. To access the options, open an object's context menu and click the three dots. You can also use shortcuts PgUp, PgDn (for Windows)/ fn +↑, fn+↓ (for Mac). Note that the options are not available for frames as frames are always placed behind board objects.

  • Flip horizontally and vertically

There are a number of existing Wish List posts for this functionality that you may want to upvote:
