Enhanced Alignment Tools — Rows and Grids for Images

My team is transitioning to Miro from Mural and use the tool primarily for reviewing designs.

In Mural, there was a great feature allowing you to arrange or align images into an evenly spaced row or grid.

In Miro, there is the ability to align objects to the left, right, top, bottom etc. but it does not adjust the spacing between the objects. There is also the option to distribute them horizontally or vertically, but the distance between objects will depend on how far apart the first and last images are. I would really love the ability to align the spacing between the objects to get evenly spaced and consistent rows/grids.

I’ve seen a couple similar posts out there but have not found a firm resolution on this. I am aware of the “auto layout” tool in Miro — it’s great! But it’s not solving this issue as you can drag the slider to any arbitrary spacing.

Was it helpful?

I would love this feature as well! PureRef has a feature to normalize sizes of selected images which is great - it scales all images to the same size, AND it also has a feature so sort them optimally next to each other. Would love this in Miro.

Please add this feature - we do a lot of post-it and dot exercises with our client and community groups. Being able to equally space dots into a nice grid is great and was heavily used when we were using Mural. Now I have to take each row and column and do it separately which is really frustrating.
