Copy and connect stickys

When I use Miro, I often copy and paste stickys. More so now that “double click to create last widget” has been removed. (BOO).

So I spend most of my time in Miro creating journey maps with stickys and connection lines. I’d be following a journey and realise that I need a new sticky for the next step. I’d love to be able to copy a sticky and have the new sticky connect to the one I’ve just copied it from. It could be a CMD+Option+Drag shortcut, since I’m already hitting option, CMD just lets me connect the sticky or not.

This is different from clicking on the hovering dot thing, because I get to place the sticky in exactly the place that its needed while connecting it all at once, it’s also a lot faster. Its a micro UX improvement, but would greatly help me with productivity. I end up going back over an entire journey and connecting the stickys individually, which is a pain.

Anyone else with similar ideas?
