The help topic on this states “In the bottom collaboration bar, you will find cards panel.” I can’t find it anywhere. What am I missing?

@TrevorWiser -

It looks like you have been migrated to the new Miro UI. As per the Help Center article here (https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404155165586-Updated-Miro-board-user-interface-), Miro product management decided to eliminate the cards panel functionality in that.

Why? It is so useful to use cards to assign and track tasks. Is there another way to do this?

@Michel Avenel - I’m not sure why Miro decided to remove the Cards panel - it’s likely they saw it was not be used by enough people to maintain it.

You can still assign people to cards. If you weren’t previously, you would manage your cards in a Kanban object:

As for finding cards elsewhere on the board, you could use the board search functionality and filter by cards:

Oh wow, I didn’t actually know the cards panel had been deprecated. Might be because I had forgotten it even existed... :see_no_evil:

Searching for a “test” card is ok, but where are *all* the cards?

@Bonka -

Unfortunately they could be anywhere on the board so right now, the search capability with a cards filter is really the only way to locate them.
