When you use Miro what features or techniques help you work with others more effectively? Do you focus on templates, integrations, presentations, or something else? I’m curious what parts of the platform others find most useful for collaboration.

Hi @alanhunter

Great question!

Across the community, the features people mention most for effective collaboration are:

  • Templates – for structure and faster workshop setup

  • Facilitation tools (Timer, Voting, Presenter mode) – especially for live sessions

  • Integrations (Jira, Slack, Google Drive, etc.) – to connect Miro to existing workflows

  • Clear board structure (frames + navigation) – to support async collaboration

Curious to hear from others as well! What’s been most helpful in your experience?

I am part of around 20 ongoing projects. For me it is just “one stop shopping” - in other words, Miro lets you put so much onto a board: documents, links, notes, project plans, tasks. So instead of the old way of thinking (a file folder with subfolders containing all the documents) you just open a single board and have everything at your fingertips.

I honestly believe the Miroverse is an absolute gold mine that too few people know about - so as Eca says about re-usable templates can speed up your work.

But for me, to be sure, it is “one stop shopping.”
