We use a simple Excel spreadsheet as a std method for tracking actions. In one of the columns, we show due dates, and if the due date is exceeded, a line is placed through it and a new due date is added. There could possibly be several dates that are missed and crossed out. The company would like to keep that visibility to missed past due dates when using Miro. Any suggestions for the best way to show this? Thx.

Hi Mike!
There are several ways to accomplish keeping “visibility to missed past due dates” as you put it:
- import from Microsoft Excel - Copy cells in your Microsoft Excel document or Google Spreadsheets, select a cell in your Miro table, and press Ctrl + V (for Windows) or Cmd + V (for Mac). The content from the spreadsheet will be copied to the table. This way, you won’t have to make any big modifications and what was displayed in your Excel table will now be displayed on your Miro board!
- you can upload your xls file displaying the missed past due dates to your Miro board. Probably the easiest way to display exactly what is shown in the original xls file!
Would any of these 2 work for you? Let us know! Happy whiteboarding!
Please walk us through your use case.
For example: adding a Card to a Miro board, adding a date to it, and then having an action occur with that card when the date is in the past? (E.g., change the colour to red and move it somewhere?)
