Unmerge cells to delete a table column

Hello everyone,

I have used a template that contains a table and when trying to delete a column, I get the error that I have to unmerge cells in order to delete the column.

I have merged and unmerged each individual row, but I still get the same error.

Is there a way to help me fix this?
