When I open a board, a random section will display font at size 14, even though it as been set at something else, e.g. 48. When I change the font size of any text in the object, all of the text returns to the original, set size.
Does anyone know why this is happening and, more importantly, how I can prevent it from happening?
Thank you

Is this happening on just one board or all boards?
Can you try accessing Miro using an alternate method (e.g. desktop app, incognito browser) and see if the behavior is different?
Kiron
Hi @Kiron Bondale it’s happening on a number of boards and often in the same place.
I am accessing the boards through the Edge browser. I’ll try a different route and feed back to you.

I have a similar problem. In my case, it happens with text within Tables. I’m using the latest Chrome browser.

Same questions as for the original poster - is this for one board or all boards using tables? Can you try with an incognito browser session and see if the behavior is different?

Hi @Kiron Bondale,
I have this problem on multiple boards. These boards are typically duplicates of each other, so the root cause might be propagated from one board to another.
I don’t know whether the board size (as in the number of objects on it or the size of all its objects together) is any factor?
Changing the table to no longer use autoscaling didn’t fix it either.
After manually fixing it and then closing and reopening the board, the problem is there again.
I created a new board with a custom size frame and a table with some text (including the Bangers font). I didn’t experience any problem in this case.
Now trying an incognito browser session: the board has the same problem. I unlock the table in the first frame and the font suddenly jumps to the right type and size. Closing and reopening the board: the problem is back again. This time I have to change the font size to 144 and then back to 80, to fix it. I hope my screenshots clarify my examples.
I hope you have an idea what might cause this.
Thanks!
With kind regards, Joost
Quick addition: the downloaded board backup is 6 MB on disk.

It is possible there is something in the original board which got corrupted and propagated over to the others created from it. Other than trying a binary search of deleting content and seeing at what point the problem disappears, my only thought would be to contact Miro support here: Submit a request – Miro Support & Help Center and provide them with the URL to the original board which exhibited the issue.
