Hello, we have a licensed miro user, his team membership has changed. she was member of Team A and we changed it to Team B. Now she can’t see all her boards anymore. We changed the membership back to Team A, still the same issue. The boards are still there, when you access them with the direct link. But she doesn’t have the direct URL to all her boards.

Can someone help? Thanks a lot.

For all readers, it’s worth mentioning what boards are ultimately attached to a team and not a user, even though boards have “owners”. This is important in this case where, if a user is a no longer a member of a team--regardless if they leave the team, are removed from the team by a Team Admin, or their Miro account profile is deleted--then any boards or projects that they own are assigned to another team member. And as the poster later found, even if you add the original owner back to the team, the boards are not automatically assigned back to the user - they may not even see the boards if they boards’ Share settings are configured to be hidden from the rest of the team.

This is not good news, but I really appreciate your answer. Thanks a lot Robert

@Martin Meyer - You’re welcome.

If I am understanding the situation, the current board owner should be able to transfer ownership back to the previous owner by following the steps outlined in the Access Rights and Board Ownership Help Center article. You could try these steps while you wait for the support team to reply.

The current board owner can be determined by either looking at the board info from the dashboard:

Or by viewing the board details:

The owner can then add the previous owner as an editor to the board:

And once they have been added the user, they can go back into the Sharing settings and make them the new owner using the Is owner action:
