Hi, how are you doing there? Does anyone know if Miro works with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processors? I've looked at the compatibility list posted by Windows here and I don't see it. If so, any information on whether this is being worked on and when it might be supported? Thanks a lot.
Hi
At the moment, the available compatibility information is outlined in our Help Center article on App System Requirements.
For Windows, Miro supports:
- Minimum: 3 GHz (2 cores/4 threads), 8GB RAM, Windows 10 or higher (Microsoft Store app requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5).
- Recommended: 2.8 GHz (4 cores/8 threads), 16GB RAM (DDR4), latest OS.
- Note: ARM versions of Windows are not supported at this time.
For macOS, Miro supports:
- Minimum: 64-bit Intel or Apple M1, macOS 11 (Big Sur) or higher.
- Recommended: Latest OS version.
If you’re trying to use Miro on a Snapdragon X Elite processor, it may depend on Windows’ emulation capabilities. Feel free to test it and share your experience—we’d love to hear how it runs!
Let us know if you have any other questions.
I have been wondering the same thing for quite a while, because I work on a Surface pro 7 and I want to upgrade, but Miro is one of my key tools for my daily work.
If anyone has any experience with running Miro on the Snapdragon X Elite, I would love to hear about it.
