I am currently sharing two links to two separate Miro-boards for my workshops.
However, two different individuals have come back to me and said they can’t access the links….
Both boards are public and no password is set for either of them. Anyone with the link has “commenter” access. I have tried the link and have commenter access when not logged in to Miro, so it seems to work OK for me, but not for them. Please help...
This is the first board:

@kathryn.king I can access both – while logged in, and anonymously/incognito.

I think we need to understand what “can’t access” means. For example, do they get
a blank page
prompted to sign in/create an account (this is common where some users are presented with a message about creating an account, however, there should be a “dismiss” action, e.g., I have seen this dismiss action:
Hi Robert,
Thanks for getting back.
I have asked the two participants re: what they can see on when accessing the links and they said the following:
- “A blank page.”
-” I can see a few comments on the left of the Micro Board. But there’s no flowchart. The other link doesn’t seem to do anything either.”
Hope this is helpful.
Thanks,
Kathryn
@kathryn.king I saw your most recently post as I powered up my phone from the runway at the Amsterdam airport, where will be visiting Miro’s new office for the first time in a couple of hours from now :)
Thanks for confirming what they are seeing.

They can access the links/boards, however, the default view of the boards are either (a) way off on a blank spot on the board or (b) zoomed way in to a blank spot on a frame.
I would suggest that you:
Open each board
Zoom to a spot/view that you would like your first-time guests to see
Right-click on a blank space on the board and select Set current view as start.
The next time someone comes to your board for the first time (or after they have cleared their cookies) they will end up at that same location.
Linking directly to an object, e.g., a frame
For those who have already visited your boards, and therefore the “start view” won’t work, you can copy a link directly to an object, e.g.:
I also noticed that on one board you have some content placed really far away from each other:
Thanks for the update Robert.
I have “set the current view as start” as advised above and have
advised the individuals to re-check the links to my Miro Boards. I will let you know what they say once the have done this.
Many thanks for your assistance and enjoy your trip to the new Miro’s office!
Best wishes,
Kathryn
@kathryn.king Perfect!
This is what I am seeing on first board now when I load it for the first time (tested by opening an incognito browser window):
