I just started with a free plan to try Miro. I want to upload 8 pictures on a board but got the message: “Resource too large for upload”. Files are maximum 1.9 MB. Any tips? Thanks a lot!

@RobP -

How are you accessing Miro? Using a free account I just confirmed that I was able to successfully upload a 4 MB Jpeg-format picture from my desktop. I’m using Miro through Google Chrome on a Windows 10 laptop.

As per this Help Center article (https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017731013-Uploading-Files-to-Boards), the maximum file size is 30 MB so you are well below that hence there should be no issues.

Kiron

Thx Kiron, Im accessing Miro via their app on my Macbook. Max 5 pictures are being upload so that's a max of about 4MB. After that I get the error

@RobP: What are the pixel dimensions?

It could be low DPI (so low MB), but high MP.

You're right I guess. One of the pictures which can't be uploaded is 6200 x 8272. Ans the maximum allowed is 8192. Thanks. I will try to reduce the dimensions and try again.

Yes, it was about the dimensions. Thanks a lot you both!! Cheers
