I’d like to move an object from one board to another. I can select the object and choose copy from the menu. But for the life of me I can’t find a way to paste once I am on that other board.

Hi @Kimmo Kyle!

Good catch! I’m sorry pasting is not working correctly in the app. 🙏

The good news is that our tech team is currently working on the issue! 🛠️

I’ll make sure to keep you updated in this thread as well as in the ticket I’ve created, so stay tuned!

Cool! Seeing some related questions, I got the impression it was a missing feature rather than a bug, but glad to hear it’s being fixed!

Hi @Kimmo Kyle,

I’m here with an update!

The issue with the missing Paste pop-up has been resolved for the tablet app. 🛠️

You should be able to paste content on your iPad by:

  1. selecting some content on a board,
  2. copying it in the context menu,
  3. tapping on an empty space on a board,
  4. and then taping on the Paste pop-up.

On a mobile app, however, the feature to copy and paste content within a board is unavailable.

Hope this helps! 🙂

Hi @Kimmo Kyle this is a good step, but what about copy images from outside Miro and paste into boards? I’m on the tablet app and yeah, it’s still not possible.

Hi @Eca What about paste from your clipboard? Like if I want to copy an image outside Miro and paste into my board? When I copy something and try to paste into Miro, I can see the paste popup window now (yay!), but under “Paste From Clipboard” it always says “null” and never pastes. Is this being worked on?
