[RESOLVED] Miro guests do not see countdown timer when started by someone else.
Hi Miro!
We use Miro often for leading trainings and workshops, I have been getting multiple reports that our guests (who have edit access) are not seeing the timers my co-facilitator or I set. This has been reported over multiple workshops.
Is anyone else seeing this or know a fix?

I logged into my board with guest at the same time when my co-facilitator set the timer, and am able to confirm guests are NOT able to see the timer, but when I am logged in, I am:
Left is my normal view with my paid account, the right is me signing in at the same time as a guest.
I can confirm that I am able to see the timer as a visitor (“Anyone with the link” editor access) and as a guest (in beta).
My test conditions:
New Miro UI beta:
Consultant Plan board
Windows 11
Latest stable Chrome browser
Perhaps this is currently broken in the current standard/old UI.
@Robert Johnson Thanks for looking into it on your end! - I submitted a ticket right after posting to the community and received a response a little while ago...
Basically this is a known bug that they are working on. They gave me a workaround (that I have yet to verify) to ask participants to refresh if they are not seeing it and it should come back.
Not sure if they would need to refresh each time I set a timer yet, but at least there is a workaround.
@Jake Wysocki - Thanks for the update. I have pinned your reply and noted the status in the post title.
Cheers!
I can confirm that when I test this fix, it works - and is not needed on subsequent new timers once the initial refresh is completed.
