I am furious.
A team member accidentally deleted a user story map that we were building for weeks.

It is INSANE that it is something that can’t be undone.

How is it possible to that no one warn users about that major edge case?

or am I missing something? is there any chance to restore all the work that was lost?

Here the help page
https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019838260

that plainly says that inability to restore deleted content is an “edge case”:

“restore” button doesn’t work (which is I guess… expected?)

@VictorN - As the help center article states, this does appear to be the expected behaviour.

Are you able to get to the User Story Map by restoring a previous version of the board (if available)?

More on this here: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021668819-Board-history-versions
NOTE: You may want to download a board backup first, just in case.

for some reason I do not have any versions available (even though I am a board owner and on a paid plan)

@VictorN - The missing Versions tab looks to be a bug at the moment. Please subscribe to this post by clicking the Star icon or just leave a reply:

I was able to restore my board once the bug with missing Versions tab got resoved.
Thank you, @Robert Johnson
