Hello,

Can someone point me in the direction of how to create an arrow which isn’t a connecting arrow but is simply just a visual arrow used to identify parts of a drawing or picture? For example, if I upload a picture and want to have arrows to highlight particular parts of the image… Currently, the arrows snap to the bounding box of the image. How do I stop that so that the arrows can ‘hang’ over particular parts of an image… make sense?

All thoughts / advice gratefully received.

@EdwardGoodwin - You disable the “snapping” by holding the Ctrl/Cmd key which dragging a connection line/arrow object:

Modifying connection lines

To draw a straight horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line, start drawing a line and hold Shift.

To disable snapping to other objects hold Ctrl (for Windows) or Cmd (for Mac).

There is also the Arrow shape, which does not snap at all:

And a few arrow-ish stickers:

Thank you Robert! That’s exactly what I need.

Much appreciated.

Not sure how I mark this ‘answered’ but it is :-)
