Question

New green UI elements are terrible

Hi!

In a recent update, many of the UI elements in Miro were turned bright green. These new elements are super hard to read and surely do not comply with up-to-date accessibility standards (ie. low contrast).

I’m surely not the only user who is bugged by this - is there a way to undo this and get back to black-on-white elements all together?

Looking forward to hearing from other users too.

Thanks!

Hi @Konstantin Selesnew,

Thanks so much for sharing your feedback — and I’m really sorry to hear about the issue with the green UI elements, especially since it’s affecting your ability to use Miro comfortably.

This actually isn’t expected behavior for end users, and we’re currently looking into the cause. To help our team investigate further, could you kindly share a bit more detail?

  • Are there other parts of the interface are appearing green for you apart from the side bar in your screenshot? (e.g., stickies, shapes, other objects)

  • Were there any actions you took just before noticing the change? (e.g., using any special commands or shortcuts)

  • And lastly, let us know what device, operating system, and browser or Miro app version you’re using.

This will help us pinpoint whether this is a lingering issue related to a previous bug and make sure it gets resolved properly.

Thanks again for reporting this — we really appreciate your help!

@Konstantin Selesnew - If you sign in from another browser (or an incognito window), do the icons return to normal? If so, then you may want to try clearing your main browser's cookies.
