Locked image moved after pasting another image on it
Hi, When a new image is pasted on another locked image, the two seems to be glued together. When user move the newly pasted image, the locked image moves too. I have never experience this before having use the same design / template multiple times.
I suspect this is an error and this behaviour shouldnt happen.
Anyone experience this before and get it fixed ?
Here is the example / video explanation »

Hi @NurulFathiyah
Thanks for your question!
I’ve just tested pasting an image over a locked image. As you can see, the the locked images couldn’t be moved.
To that end, could you please try these basic troubleshooting steps and share the results with us:
Try the Incognito mode or any other browsers' Private mode or window. This allows us to rule out the possibility that the issue is caused by cache and cookies or some browser extensions. If you have some extensions enabled in the incognito/private mode - please temporarily disable them. If in the Incognito mode everything works fine, make sure to clear your browser's cache and cookies and then sign out and back into your Miro profile anew before checking the process in the standard mode. Additionally, please disable all extensions for your browser.
If you use VPN, try switching it off/on.
Switch to another browser/network/device, if possible, and check the situation there.
Does it help? Please let us know how that goes!
@NurulFathiyah - Thanks for the detailed video example. However, I am unable to reproduce this in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or the Miro desktop app (Windows 10 & 11, 64-bit).
Hi Robert and Nick
I opened the problematic file today, wanitng to share it with you both, however it seems that the problem had solved by itself.
On the problematic day itself, the workaround that I did was to put the background image in the frame and lock it together with the frame.
Hopefully in future, when anyone encounter the same problem, they can use the same workaround.
Nick,
I did the incognito thing and it didnt work. Also, it was my users from across the globe who “moved” my locked image so I ruled out cache or browser vs app problem.
Once again, thanks you both for your attention to this issues.
