Jira Integration - Disabled

My guests used to be able to use the Jira cards feature through the jira integration on Miro. But since the past week or so - they are unable to use the functionality :(

Has anyone else experienced this? It is a critical feature that my guests need to utilise during Planning Sessions and workshops.

Now, I am the only one with the license in my company and I cannot be spending so much time converting all the urls to jira cards on behalf of my whole company in planning.

And it does not make sense for us to purchase licenses for all 80+ employees if they only use the tool once every quarter.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi @Nix Swanepoel

Thanks for reaching out.

Support has confirmed that guests can still view the Jira cards, but interaction (such as converting URLs into Jira cards or creating new ones) may be limited to licensed members only.

Given your use case (large group, quarterly usage), you might consider:

  • Preparing the Jira cards in advance before sessions

  • Temporarily upgrading key facilitators instead of all 80+ users

If anyone else has found a scalable workaround for large planning groups, feel free to share.
