Hey there Miroverse

I have an educational licence, which i thought meant it was a full licence.

I have recently created a project list and utilising the simaltaneous views. But for some reason, one view, the timeline view, keeps disappearing and when I try to recreate it, the system asks for me to updgrade.

Is this a bug or a change in the system.

I also realise this is probably two issues lol

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated

Hi @Richard Howes, thanks for sharing the details!

I can see from your screenshot that you’re working with synced copies of views. These are only available on certain paid plans, which is why you’re being prompted to upgrade. It’s not a bug, but a limitation of the plan included in your Education license.

That said, you can still manage project lists and keep things organized by:

  • Using Mind Maps to structure per department or project area (either all in one board or across multiple boards).

  • Creating frames with tags to make navigation and searching easier.

  • Working with the Table view or board cards to track projects when Timeline isn’t available.

If you feel Timeline and synced views are essential for your work, I’d recommend reaching out to our Support team to explore upgrade options or see if there’s a workaround that best fits your case.

Hope this clears things up a bit!

Thanks Eca - that’s good to know. It just seemed odd to have access to the blueprints working and then not be able to create my own.

Thank you for the clarification

Kindest regards

Rich
