How to edit sharing settings being the company and team admin
I am a company and the team admin in my Miro account.
Meanwhile if one of team members creates a board in our team or space, I still need to ask him to give me co-owner rights to edit sharing and “copy from the board” settings.
How can I get full access to every board created in our team?
This is the purpose of an admin, no?

Hi @Peter Kozlov great question!
In Miro, there’s a distinction between a Team Admin and a Board Owner:
Team Admins manage the overall workspace — they can adjust team settings, billing, member permissions, and integrations. However, they don’t automatically have edit or ownership rights over every board created in the team.
Board Owners - control the board they created. They decide who can view, comment, edit, or copy the board’s content.
This setup helps maintain user privacy and control, especially in larger organizations where many users might create their own content.
If you’d like to ensure admins always have board access, you can:
Adjust default board sharing settings so new boards are automatically shared with the team or specific groups.
Ask board owners to transfer ownership or share boards directly with you as needed.
If my understanding of your concern isn’t fully accurate, could you please share a bit more detail about your setup (for example, whether you’re on a Starter, Business, or Enterprise plan)? That’ll help me guide you better on available admin controls.
@Peter Kozlov Since you mentioned "Company Admin", you have either the Business or Enterprise Plan.
Of your are on the Business Plan, you will not be able to manage the content-copy settings unless, as you mentioned, the board owner grants you co-owner privileges.
If you have an Enterprise Plan subscription, you could grant yourself Content Admin privileges and edit the content-copy settings for any board that your have access to. More on this here:
