How to delete a shape and not all connected line to it ?

I have an image with 3 connected lines and I’d like to delete the image to use another one.
When I delete the shape all connected lines get deleted as well and I don’t want to redo them all.
I can disconnect lines one by one but that is a bit tedious.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thank.
