How to auto arrange the whiteboard items?


 

when I create items more and more, this map looks clutter. 

is there a feature of Miro to auto arrage them?

@markleo - I would start by selecting the central/root node and use the align child nodes action:

it’s not a mindmap.

There is an auto-layout tool, however, there may not be a powerful enough algorithm to fix that board.

Any reason I am not seeing the align children nodes button?

@Zik Team - The above screenshot is from June 14, 2022, and things have changed a bit since.

Here is the latest on aligning nodes from the Mind Map help center article:

Moving, resizing, adding, deleting nodes

As you rearrange nodes in your mind map, all child nodes will automatically align. This is because auto layout is turned on by default.To turn auto layout on or off, click the parent node, and in the context menu toggle auto layout.

When auto layout is turned off, you can still align all your child nodes. After you’ve finished organizing your mind map, click the parent node, then click the three dots (...) in the context menu and select Layout nodes.
