In the Miro Org Chart template, if the individual boxes are appearing wider than you'd like, here are a few steps you can take to adjust the box size and improve the layout:

1. Double-click on the text inside the box. By resizing the text box itself, you may be able to control the overall box width. You might see a blue outline around the text box that lets you drag the edges to make it narrower.

2. Some templates have the boxes grouped together. Click on the box and try ungrouping it (you can use Ctrl+Shift+G on Windows or Cmd+Shift+G on Mac). Once ungrouped, you may have more control over individual elements within the box, including its size.

I also couldn't resize the boxes in the org chart template. I've reached out to Miro Support to confirm if this is expected behavior, and I'll update you once they respond.

In the meantime, as a workaround, you might want to use the Mind Map template to create your org chart. It allows more customization for box sizes and colors, which could help you achieve the layout you’re looking for.
