Hello @Alyona I am a student at IGNOU (ignou.ac.in), studying masters in education. Unfortunately, this is a government university and doesn’t offer dedicated email for all its students. However I can share necessary documentation, including ID card, kindly assist me with Student account access, thank you.

Hello. I am a Teacher from Russia and I want to register an educational account, but my email is not accepted, because I am not from America and in Russia I only have a personal email address. How can I apply if the Submit button does not work?
hi @SashaMarkhorenkova
I’m sorry to say that sanctions by the EU and the US required us to stop providing services to accounts registered in Russia or Belarus, effective 12 September 2024.

I understand you. Thank you for your answer. But if I am territorially in Ukraine, but in the occupied territory (where military actions are taking place) and my educational institution has been under Russian jurisdiction for several years. Do I still fall under these sanctions?
Hello, Miro Support Team!
Thank you for providing me with the opportunity to use the student plan for free. I’m still pursuing my studies, but unfortunately, my university has yet to set up email accounts for students… You’re doing a much better job than they are!
Would it be possible to kindly request an extension of my student plan?
With respect and gratitude,
Denys

Hello! I am a self-employed tutor currently in Georgia, and I would like to apply for the Education plan as I teach English classes, but I’m not affiliated with any educational institutions. Is it still possible to do?
Hi @apollofield,
Thank you for your interest in Miro's Education plan! Currently, the Education plan is designed for verified educators and students affiliated with accredited educational institutions, such as schools, colleges, or universities.
Since you’re a self-employed tutor and not affiliated with an institution, you may not meet the eligibility requirements for the Education plan. However, here are a couple of options you might consider:
- Miro's Free plan includes many powerful features that could still work well for managing your tutoring sessions.
- If you’d like access to advanced features, you could explore the paid plans, which might better suit your needs as a self-employed educator.
- If you believe your situation aligns closely with the purpose of the Education plan, you can always reach out to Miro Support to explain your circumstances. While they may not guarantee eligibility, they might have additional advice or resources for tutors like you.
Let me know if you have more questions—I’m happy to help!
Disregard this post as I think I may have found a solution.
Hi!
I am interested in applying for Miro Education Plan. Sadly, but my college does not provide any email for students. Currently I am working on a project on subject that is related to my major, Computer Science. For that project I have to create many mind maps. So please can you consider my application for Miro Education!
If that helps, I have filled one form of applying for Miro Edu where I attached my Student ID.
If something is needed from me to prove my studentship, I can provide any of that.
Thanks in advance!

Hello, I would like to apply to the education plan to better organize my study projects in preparation for a potential change of major after completing my current one. However, my college does not provide student emails, and in a year, I will have to transfer to another educational institution.
I would appreciate it if you could consider my application for the Miro Education Plan.
Thank in advance!

Hi,
The same.
I am registered with my e-mail and paying monthly for Miro.
It turned out, I can apply for a free student plan as I am enrolled by an accredited organization in postgraduate program. But do not have a professional e-mail from the institution. Please support on next steps.
Kind regards,
Katarzyna
