Help Restore My Students' Boards

Hello,

I have two students who were on another teacher’s education plan (let’s call it Team A) but we ran out of licenses on that account. I applied for my own education plan (let’s call it Team B). I invited my students to move to team B, and they joined the team and their boards appeared on my Team B page.

Then, the admin of Team A removed those students from Team A. Their boards are now lost and they do not appear in the trash of either Team A or Team B.

Please help! I need those students’ work to be recovered.

Thank you,

sophie

@simamura Adding a user to a team does not automatically move their boards. The boards are tied to a team unless the board owner explicitly moves the boards from Team A to Team B.

When the Team Admin of Team A removed the users/members from Team A, they would have been prompted as follows:

Regardless of which option the Team Admin of Team A chose, they are now the owner of the content/boards — difference being, if they chose Delete users resources, the boards are now in the Trash and are only visible by the Team Admin, who should seem if:

  1. They are on the dashboard of the team where the users were previously a member of
  2. and then they browse to the Trash, either from their top-right corner avatar, or by directly going to https://miro.com/app/dashboard/trash

Thank you! I am going to ask the Team Admin if they see their boards in the trash folder.
