Hello,

is it possible to gather currently existing Teams in our Company without any pricing plan to a team, that now becomes a Business Plan?
So that we can manage all the Teams within one organization?

Or do that teams need to be created as new Teams?

Or whats best practice here?
There are a lot of teams and contents that have been grown on their own during the last couple of years.

Thanks,
Max

To level set for everyone reading this post, the Business and Enterprise plans are currently the only subscription types that have a structure above the team space, meaning the Business and Enterprise subscriptions allow for unlimited team spaces under one subscription – this is referred to as the Company level.

With that being said, @Maximilian Rettig, if you are asking: Is there a way to easily amalgamate several team spaces, i.e., one or more Free, Starter, or even Education plan spaces into one Business Plan subscription, the answer is no.

You would need to:

  1. Set up a Business Plan
  2. Create all of the team spaces
  3. Add all of your users who are the board/projects/template, i.e., content owners to the new Business Plan teams
  4. and they would all have to move their boards, create projects, reconfigure sharing settings, etc.

However, if you were to become an Enterprise Plan subscriber, the above tasks are something that Miro could assist with.

Thank you @Robert Johnson for sharing those details about our Business and Enterprise plans! @Maximilian Rettig - we would suggest contacting sales directly so they can walk you through what this looks like if you do have existing Miro teams set up that you’d like to merge: https://miro.com/contact/sales/
