Error message when using Jira Cards within the Timeline

This is a blocker for use.

When dropping a Jira Card onto the timeline feature on a board, I cannot adjust the start and end date because I get this message:

Failed to update integrated cell value: Update falled; no corresponding Jira field found for com.miro.system.start_date column

This seems to have happened recently, because only last week I was able to drop cards on, and adjust everything manually. We haven’t made any changes in our Jira instance, however I did notice that Jira seems to have rolled out new UI and UX changes, perhaps it is related?

Either way, I’d love some support on this since I use timeline for ALL my multiple project back of napkin planning.

Was it helpful?

@Elliot Jones thanks for letting me know!

I tried this on my end, but I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue. Could you share more details about your setup and the steps leading to the error? If possible, a short video would also help us better understand the problem.

Hi @Katie_Sc  — thanks for reaching out!

I’d love to help with this. Could you share a bit more about your setup and the exact steps you're taking when trying to link Jira start/end dates to your Miro board? If you’re seeing an error message, feel free to include that as well. A short video or screenshot would also be super helpful in understanding what’s going wrong.

Looking forward to your reply so we can dig into this together!

Hi @Eca, I found that I didn’t have the right permissions in Jira and therefore it wasn’t updating my start and end dates but solved now. Thank you.
