Somehow I only have one shared team left in my Miro account, although a colleague of mine has his own Miro-Team and our shared team. Why is my own team gone and how do I get it back?!

Hi @Fr Lorinser

Thanks for reaching out!

Just to clarify — are you unable to see your personal team at all in the left-hand dashboard panel when logging in? A couple of things to check:

  • Did you perhaps switch to a different login (Google, email, SSO, etc.) than the one where your team was created?

  • Are you still the Team Admin of that missing team, or could it have been deleted?

  • When was the last time you were able to access that team?

If your team has been removed or your profile has been removed, it may not show up anymore. If that’s the case, you’ll likely need to Get invited back by another Admin of that team (if it still exists), or

Could you share a bit more detail on whether the team disappeared recently or if you only noticed it after joining the shared one? That will help narrow down what happened.

I guess it got deleted, in that case - what do I do?

My current teacher plan just offers me price plans when I try to form or add another team…

@Fr Lorinser The standard upgrade path for a Free Plan user to (free) Education Plan is that your Free Plan is upgraded to an Education Plan, and not a completely new team being created and added to your Miro account profile.

a colleague of mine has his own Miro-Team and our shared team

Yes, this is possible. Just like, for example, if you were to create another Miro account with some other email address and then add your current/teacher/education email as a member of that new team. After done that, you too would have two teams associate with your profile.

I see, thank you so much for explaining!
