Hi - i am trying out the roadmap blueprint and in the company objectives sheet, I cannot work out how to edit the “Objective” names, as shown in the screenshot.

Can anyone help?

Hi @nick_111,

Thanks for reaching out!

Before grouping the field, you can put your desired group “name” first.

Hope this helps!

Hi - I am also testing the Roadmap Planning Blueprint and having difficulty adding objectives - it looks like there is an OKR table that is NOT in the blueprint template pack.  On the “Company Objectives” sheet, the table is synced to an “OKR” table that houses the Objectives.  If this OKR table was in the pack, i’d be able to update objectives directly in the correct table and not via the instructions you provided above.  Could you please investigate.  Thank you

Hi @Amanda Matthes, thanks so much for surfacing this — great observation!

You’re right that the “Company Objectives” table references an “OKR” table, and if that OKR table isn’t present in the pack, it limits your ability to manage objectives as intended.

To help me investigate further, could you please share the link to the specific template you're using? That way, I can check whether there’s a missing component or a sync issue and follow up internally.

Thanks again for flagging this — I’ll do my best to help you get this sorted!

Hi - Here is a link - https://miro.com/app/dashboard/?tpTemplate=adf986ec-96c5-4365-9a2c-8f223a48c059&templateType=space&isCustom=false&share_link_id=710195410179

I’ve gone through all 13 sheets to see if that table is in there and I cannot locate.  Thank you for looking into this.

Hi @Amanda Matthes — thank you for providing the template link.

I’ve gone ahead and asked the Miro team internally to help clarify whether the OKR table is included somewhere in the Roadmap Planning Blueprint or if it may have been left out unintentionally.

I’ll be sure to follow up here as soon as I hear back from them. Appreciate your patience in the meantime — I’ll keep you posted!

Hi @Amanda Matthes

The “Company Objectives” sheet references an “OKR” table that currently isn't available as a standalone table in the blueprint. After reviewing the setup, we've confirmed that this isn't working as intended, and it may be linked to an issue with how the embedded table is functioning. The team is aware of the issue and is already looking into the best way to resolve it.

We appreciate your patience while we work on a fix, and I’ll be sure to update you as soon as we have more news. Let me know if you run into anything else in the meantime!

@Eca Is there an update on this issue? I am also facing the same issue with adding more Objectives.

Hi @Adnan Shafique thanks for the follow up!

I will reach out to the team to check the status of this. Once I learn more, I will share the updates here on this thread.

I had the same issue and have finally figured out how to edit it. It is not a bug:

  1. Go to the Company Objectives and click the button Go to Canvas.
  2. Click on the filter and unhide the Objectives column
  3. Add a row, by default it will have one of the 3 objectives assigned, but you can edit it, and once you start typing Objective 4, it gets added as a new objective.
  4. You can edit all of the content like this, I have managed to edit the entire template

Thanks @Zizzi . That is a workaround, but not ideal. This Blueprint is very promising for my usecase but a shame that the bug hasn’t been resolved in so long.

It looks like once you edit the objective to actually have a useful name, it doesn’t propogate through the template.

It’s not much use to have a template with “Objective 1” that needs to be looked up in a spreadsheet or something.

I’ll just use the spreadsheet.
