Question

Description expand

'm making a miro board with descriptions. But for whatever reason, I cant see the whole description even if I click the box, zoom in, or zoom out. I need to click it then scroll down to see the other points. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Was it helpful?

Hi @Kenneth Jay Catacutan,

Thanks for reaching out! Just to help us better understand the issue, could you share a bit more detail? Could you provide a screenshot or a video showing the description box and the button you are clicking on? This will help us see exactly what’s happening.

Looking forward to your reply so we can investigate further!

Here is a video that I took

Basically, I want to see the entire description without clicking and scrolling down on it.

Hi @Kenneth Jay Catacutan,

Thanks for providing the video link, that helps a lot! I’m currently trying to replicate and test this issue on my end to see if there’s a workaround. Could you let me know which tool you’re using to create the description box? Is it a card or an org chart? That will help me narrow down the cause of the issue.

Looking forward to your response! 😊

@Eca - It is, indeed, the User card object found in Org Chart, but which can also be created on their own:

I cannot find any way to expand the card. The Description field does not even indicate when there is off-screen text, e.g., no ellipsis to indicate there is more text.

Suggestions:

Hi @Robert Johnson, thanks for confirming the tool used!

@Kenneth Jay Catacutan, I was able to reproduce the same behavior on my end. As Robert mentioned, one suggestion would be to create a Wish List post to request a better user experience (UX) for the description field, as this could help bring attention to the issue. Alternatively, you could use the standard Miro card for a more consistent experience.

Let me know if you need help with anything else! 😊

This is now solved! Thank you @Eca and @Robert Johnson appreciate you both
