Hi, I'm trying to copy content from a single frame in Miro (which includes flows, vector graphics, and images) to Figma. I also tried the Miro plugin for Figma, but it didn’t work.

How can I easily transfer my content to Figma?

Hi @Ziv Ariely,

Thanks for reaching out!

Transferring content from Miro to Figma can be a bit tricky due to the differences in how the two platforms handle formatting and objects. Here are a couple of options you can try:

  1. Export and Import
You can export the Miro frame or board as an image file (e.g., PNG or PDF) and then upload it to Figma. Please note that this method will not retain editable vector graphics or text formatting; the content will appear as a flat image in Figma.

  2. Copy and Paste
While you can copy objects from Miro and paste them into Figma, formatting, styles, and vector elements might not transfer correctly due to platform differences. Objects might convert into plain text or lose design fidelity.

If you're trying to integrate Miro boards with Figma, the Miro plugin for Figma is another option, though it primarily imports boards as references rather than editable content.

For detailed steps on importing Miro boards to Figma, check out this Figma support article: Import Miro boards to FigJam.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions. 😊

Thanks.
I tried all of the above, including the use of the Figma plugin that also didn’t seem to work.

Best regrads.
