I created a board while I had a log in and password. Company then switched to single sign on, and although I am still the owner of the board I am unable to edit it and all I get is a link to request access….which doesn’t come to me.  I am not sure what I can do now to unlock the board and get the ownership working correctly.  I tried logging in with my email and password and it suggested I should be using sso and not logging me in.  Not sure where to go from here.

@Ian Caddick - Since your company has SSO configured, you have a paid subscriptions and can therefore open a support ticket.

You can open a Miro support ticket by following these instructions:

https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020185799-How-to-contact-Miro-Support#h_01F010RXA0E1S9C0WFQYX75R6C

Hi @Ian Caddick,

Thanks for sharing what’s happening — that does sound frustrating, especially when your account access changes mid-project.

Since you're still listed as the board owner but can’t access or edit the board, the best next step is definitely to contact Miro Support directly. Let them know:

  • The email address used before and after the SSO switch

  • The board(s) affected - board name and URL links

  • Any message you're seeing when trying to access it

They’ll be able to investigate and help with your editing rights.

Let us know how it goes, and we’ll be here if you need help navigating the steps.
