[KNOWN BUG] Bug with simultaneous editing

Hello!

I use the enterprise version of Miro, and everyone in the team has access to edit the board. In normal mode, editing is not difficult.

When the team gathers together, it becomes impossible to edit the frame with the Kanban board together: while one person is editing their part, another cannot create or move cards.

This makes collaborative work very difficult. The problem was discovered after April 1, 2025, and had not been noticed before.

I would be grateful for your help with my issue!

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share an update from the Support team regarding this issue. It's been confirmed as a known bug affecting simultaneous collaboration on Kanban boards — specifically when two or more collaborators try to move or create cards at the same time, the changes may not register properly (e.g., cards jumping back).

The team is actively investigating the issue, and Support will follow up once more information is available. In the meantime, I’ll continue monitoring any updates here and will share back as soon as I hear more.

Appreciate your patience and collaboration while this gets looked into!

@Akulina Yumanova - Could you provide some more context or a screenshot of your setup? It sound like you have a Frame, with a Kanban board in the Frame, and when someone is editing the “their part” (a Card in the Kanban?), no one can Create or move cards?

I just tested what I believe to be a similar scenario and everything acted as expected:

Reporting the issue to Miro Support

Since you are using a paid subscription, you could open a Miro support ticket by following these instructions:

https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020185799-How-to-contact-Miro-Support#h_01F010RXA0E1S9C0WFQYX75R6C

@Robert Johnson - You're right, this is the use case. Only in our case, the cards cannot be moved, they literally jump back out.
Thanks for the help! I'm contacting support.

Hi @Akulina Yumanova,

It’s great that you’ve already reached out to Miro Support — they’ll be able to take a deeper look into what’s happening. I can see that they’ve already followed up on your ticket, which is great to hear!

We’ll keep an eye out here in the Community as well in case any confirmed bugs or updates are shared by the team.

Hi, any updates on this?
We are having the same issues where we can’t collaborate on the same kanban board.
