Add the same object - box won;t go away and cannot edit on screen

Hi,

 

Could anyone advise how I get this box down from my Miro board:

 

It won’t let me edit anymore, instead it keeps trying to make new boxes.

 

I’m certain my butter fingers managed to get this up so I don’t know what I’ve done to get it there to remove it - Google search is reaping no solutions either.

 

Any help would be great as I don’t want to delete the board and start again

@Rachael McCallum - If I am understanding you correctly, the diagramming shape selection dialogue is “stuck” on your screen and won’t go away? If so, have you tried:

  • reloading the board
  • clearing our cache and cookies (or resetting the app data if using the Miro desktop app)
  • signing out and back in of your Miro account
  • duplicating the board - does it still appear on the duplicate?
