Hello Everyone,

Miro has been in my life for over a year now, since learning the ropes from Isman Tanuri during a M3.0 course. I was hooked from the first moment, and have used Miro for various purposes every since - from keeping a cousin’s child busy during lockdown to plotting change impact diagrams and scheming on new ideas for user experience design. And even so, I still have not found the end of the Miro miracle; every time I use it, I discover something new about it.

Happy to be here!

Hi Community :)
I am Atsushi . I read and write with translation software. Work from home has increased. I had a hard time communicating online. However, using miro has increased my good time. I can't find the miro community in Japan. I participated here. I would like to hold a miro workshop in Japan as well.
I'm doing 1on1 using miro. miro helps express the careers of participants.
thx

Hi, I'm Stuart, I'm new here. I love Miro and am exploring it's use as part of a digital support network for some of the Young People here in Easton, Bristol, UK. Our Charity (Baggator) has had to shut it's doors due to COVID-19, which is bad news as we are in the heart if one of the 10% of most deprived neighbourhoods in England. So if anyone has suggestions for how we can turn a negative into a positive and digitally upskill our kids using tools like Miro, we're all ears (eyes, fingers, mice, etc). Thanks.

Hello World!!

Hej!

My name is Silke Hackmann. I’m originally German, but emigrated in 1999 to Italy. Ten years later I moved with my Italian husband and our daughter to Helsingborg in Sweden and now we are Swedish as well :). I’m working also in a famous Swedish company - IKEA - as learning developer for Group Digital. Can’t exactly say yet what I will use Miro for, but I see a lot of potential for remote meetings and online facilitated training sessions.

Hoi zäme

Hello dear Miro-community
“Hoi zäme” is in a Swiss-German dialect for Hello to all of you. I am living in the middelland of Switzerland halfway between Bern and Zürich.
I am working as a coach and faclilitator for adult education with focus on reorientation for individuals and orientation for people thinking opening their own business. And all sorts of other personal questions.
Online I work mostly with Zoom and MS Teams and there I miss the possibility to get participants to use breaks for spontaneous encounters with fellow participants as they do in face-to-face situations. Wonder or gather.town may have the potential to be such a occasion. Miro I know for a few weeks and I get slowly into it to find a better use in workshops.

I have seen many possibilities but I notice in online-events, that people are quickly overhelmd by to many diffrent tools.

Well I’m curious what will grow in this community and what I can learn with you all.
Thanks for the initiative and take care

Hello everyone,

My name is Gabriel and I am based in Bangkok. I have been teaching photography, motion graphics and other creative practice at Silpakorn University International College, a local Thai University.
As COVID19 closed our campus since last April, our university has been online for the past few months and will be until better days come.
I discovered Miro last week while studying new techniques for online and Hyflex teaching. A colleague of mine introduced me this wonderful app. I am already planning to use it for many of my courses, for brainstorming, constructing collective data, and decision making.

 Glad to join this community!

Hi community

Innovation strategy consultant and entrepreneur (online language school, craft beer + a couple of others) here, and have been doing it for a long time so personally responsible for hundreds of thousands of post-it notes to be recycled and bucket loads of used sharpies - this is better!

Reasonably experienced using the ‘other whiteboarding tool’ and getting up to speed with Miro now too

Always happy to connect on https://www.linkedin.com/in/paulhamilton/

Stay safe everyone,

Paul

Hello all, this is Jammi from Singapore. Working on my startup, Findayly, for the retail industry. Started to use Miro in June, found it complex, moved to standalone apps.

Two weeks ago, saw the app and opened it as I had some free time. Within 15 mins, I’d discovered so much more than before. In the next 15 mins, asked my team to start collaborating, minding maps, etc. on Miro exclusively. I can’t get enough of it now.

Looking forward to new learnings and shared experiences from the Miro community.

Stay safe and stay happy!

Hi   everyone!
My name is Peter and I’m Coach4Agile form Cologne / Bonn area in Germany.

I discovered Miro just in time before COVID-19 lockdown - so I have a great solution at hand for online collaboration while at home.

Other than that I support my kids home schooling right now…:nerd:

Like many, our company recently went full-time remote for the first time. Whiteboards are critical element of our workflow and we found ourselves scrambling for a solution when we were all of a sudden unable to share the same space. Enter Miro. After testing out some of the options available, it became apparent very quickly that Miro not only solved our whiteboard conundrum but offered a whole slew of opportunities for collaboration, project management, and record keeping. The functionality is amazing. Within a week of integrating Miro into the company workflow, I found myself upselling Miro to an old friend who works at another consulting firm, who also just happened to be in the market for a digital whiteboard solution. Unsurprisingly, they are now Miro users as well.

Keep up the good work.

Next step is to get Miro integrated with Salesforce. Wish me luck… I hate Salesforce.

Hi everybody,

I’m Roberta, from Rome. I’m a qualitative market researcher and, due to the COVID-19 emergency, I needed a platform to run my researches - interviews and focus group discussions - remotely. I was looking for something able to be user friendly and complete at the same time and, after having considered some solutions, I found in Miro the most astonishing one. I really love the possibilities it gives and its creative sparkle. Looking forward to using it for my job.

Best wishes and “Go Miro heroes!”

Hello everybody,

My name is Régis, I live in Switzerland where I belong to a tribe of agile coaches. For ourselves and as well for our clients we are discovering the power of Miro and we are enthusiastic about the value it can bring.

Greetings from beautiful Oregon! I’m excited to be part of the community and learning more about Miro. While I’ve just started my consulting business in Operations, Customer Support and Organizational Development, I’m excited to see how Miro can help me in our virtual world. While I wasn’t thinking virtual before the pandemic, I’m super excited to see that we’ve reduced our impact on the environment by 40%. I’m hopeful that by doing my part to minimize travel and work remotely we can continue the trend.

My first usage of Miro is how to help employees find meaning and purpose at work. I’m excited to learn from others about this tool.

Ruth, BeMapic

Hi everyone!

My name is Pablo; I’m currently working for Improving as a Product Owner; previously, as Business Analyst and Scrum Master.

I’m here because I love using MIRO, initially to create application mock-ups, but I plan to use it in my daily life with my family. I hope it gets translated to other languages one day so more non-English speakers can take advantage of this great platform.

I love the courses and DISTRIBUTED 2021 Event amazed me.

Thanks for building this great platform; I feel lucky to join the community.

Hi everyone, I’m Seb!

I live in New York City and work for PwC in a group called The Difference. My team designs and facilitates different kinds of collaborative interventions, both in-person and, now more than ever, virtually. I’m using Miro to design, prepare, build, and execute sessions for clients and have LOVED using the tool so far. I’m excited to grow my skills and learn from the Miro community.

Hi everyone!  I’m Annie MacLeod and Project Management consultant, coach & mentor based in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.  I found Miro - or at that time Realtime Board - almost 3 years ago and love it.  I tell folks its the sexiest software I’ve found in about 20 years!

I’ve partnered with two other folks here in Kelowna to develop the Project Gameboard - a proprietary system to visualize, manage and move your projects from ‘chaos to completion’.  We’ve also integrated key culture components for organizations, project teams and project managers to build high trust relationships and practices.

We use Miro to do workshops with clients - stickies rule!  We’re also exploring the Miro integrations with PM tools such as Jira, MSTeams, Basecamp, etc.  Really looking forward to learning from this great community.

Here’s my view from my office and Prince William surveying his domain!

Hi,

I’m Jonathan, and Biologist with the US Fish and Wildlife Service, and a private consultant. I specialize in decision science and quantitative ecology.

I use Miro to aid the facilitation of structured decision making processes. At this point I use it in three ways: to provide a visual that helps when I’m explaining the process or the upcoming task, a means of facilitating brainstorming and collecting input, and as a visual repository that helps to create the shared institutional memory of a team or organization as they progress toward making a decision.
