bAt the moment when editing the text size, the size of the text field changes but is anchored to the top left, even when the text is right justified. This means that increasing or decreasing font size can mean also having to re-arrange the text box to get it back into the correct position. When text is aligned to the right, the automatic scaling of the text box should be top-right aligned. When text is centre aligned, the scaling should be top-centre aligned. Before pressing the font size up or down arrow Pressing the font size up button once - the text field is still right aligned, but the scaling was applied from the top left, meaning it now has to be re-positioned manually.
We use miro for workshops, team work, and support to some brand presentations/pitch. It would be great is we could add google fonts to the options, like we do with Google Slides and Google Docs. Otherwise, it’s hard to keep any sort of identity for the documents we generate on the platform and the ones created outside. I understand the discussion typeface licencing can generate. But many brands choose different typefaces for print stationary and for digital use. And Google fonts is a democratic option for digital. So maybe google fonts is an option in between (custom typeface and enlarge the options). Thanks*
Is there a way to add google typeface or custom typeface to use on Miro board?
E.g. Microsoft Yahei
I am need Miro to handle Japanese fonts. On my Mac (macOS 10.15.4), I am able to type Japanese fonts in Miro, but the quality of the Japanese font when exporting is very poor. Could you please consider that Miro be able to handle Japanese (and other Asian fonts) in future updates?
Hello, stickies are the no1 feature in miro to me. But it would be much better, if i could choose a colour for the sticky and even have more options for text formatting (the same like i have in the text-tool: bold style, fonts). I added a picture of what i like to see in miro. Michael
To enhance the user experience for Persian and Arabic-speaking users, we propose integrating the VazirMatn font into Miro. This open-source typeface, meticulously crafted by Saber RastiKerdar, is renowned for its beauty, readability, and widespread adoption in prominent platforms like Google. By incorporating VazirMatn, Miro can significantly elevate the visual appeal and usability of its platform for a substantial user base, fostering a more engaging and productive work environment. https://github.com/rastikerdar/vazirmatn
Miro is good website. However, the Chinese font supported is not enough. Please add more Chinese fonts, i.e. Kai font Thank you.
Font should be able to be filled
Current: When uploaded to Miro Brand Center, Open Type SVG Fonts are rendering as all black instead of their original colours / composition Solution: Enable support for Open Type SVG Colour Fonts so we have more control over the visual appearance of our boards. Examples of how OpenType-SVG Color Fonts can look: Thanks for listening! Lucie
It would great to be able to change the font of the text in/on connectors.
In the absence of being able to upload/link our own font files, can we add some more modern typography specimens? So many great free-use fonts available at http://www.fontshare.com like Satoshi, Clash Grotesk, Clash Display--and then there’s the UI/Brand staple: Inter. This seems like low-hanging fruit. UPDATE: Just discovered the Brand Center… yay!
Paragraph text is very close. Even just a simple option of small, medium, or large line height in the brand center settings would be welcome.
It would be great to add some common formatting features - adjusting the kerning and line space on fonts - it would really help bring more options when creating presentation boards in miro.
I can’t upload my company’s font files because of the limitation of file capacity. I would like to add 4 files each have around 3.5MB.
The UI for importing a brand font is very much structured around discrete fonts: However, variable fonts have been around for years now, and more and more fonts, old and new, are being released as variable fonts. Are there any plans to support variable fonts? Thank you!
Hi there, I would really love to see all fonts in Miro support all unicode characters. A quarter of the available fonts are unusable for us in Central Europe due to this limitation. For example, here in the Czech Republic we cannot write correctly without the letters "ř", "č" and others. But other neighbouring languages are doing the same or worse. Especially in Balakan, this is usually a big problem as far as I am informed. I attach a sample of the fallacies when I write the following sentence witten in Czech: "Examples often illustrate the topic for better understanding." Thank you for at least concidering this issue.
It would be AMAZING to be able to import brand specific fonts to be able to use in presentations into miro. That would be ideal. If that’s not possible, can we get more font options please?!
Maintain font and size when adding new fields/rows to ERD tables Currently ERD tables have a default font and when you add a new field (row) to that table it will use this default font. I like to switch my tables to a monospaced font and when I add a new field to the ERD table it currently does not use the font I set the entire table to use and rather uses the default font. Solution When adding a new field it should use whatever font the previous field is using, OR it should use the font the table uses for its header/name. Additionally Maintain the same font size as well.
Good evening, Currently sticky notes supports only two font styles, it would be great to have few more design styles. Thanks Aman
