Hi! Our team would really love it if we could flip images around and change transparency on them. Currently using Illustrator as a work around for it, but would love the integration in Miro! Thanks 🙏
Hi, I was wondering if it’s possible to flip a shape or group of shapes horizontally? (also called Mirror) This feature is very handy in other drawing / vector tool. Miro is an amazing tool, keep up the good work! Best, Julien
We create moodboards for Interior Design & Product and need to make quick idea presentations and need the ability to flip images horizontally and vertically, as it is possible to do in Indesign
Need the ability to flip / mirror images, both vertically and horizontally.
I added a foto from a wall with some Post-its (analog sticky notes) and hand-written comments on that to my Miro board. With the AI feature, OI could remove the background, so that only the sticky notes were present. It would be really great, if I can extract and automatically create Miro Sticky notes from the picture - so, a complete digital version of the picture. Half the way has been gone so far. Please finalize it. :-) BR, Andreas
Ability to flip a component vertical or horizontal. There is a rotate feature, but rotating and flipping is not the same thing. In Inkscape a simple keypress of V or H while an object is selected will do a mirror flip vertical or horizontal. There is a similar feature requesthttps://community.miro.com/topic/show?tid=157&fid=32 but this is for Horizontal only, so created a new feature request as these two should be added together.
In some cases it would be nice to be able to flip a sticky note, that the text would not be visible to others. In a brainstorm process you could then for example already attach notes to certain elements without others to know what you wrote. For presentation the focus would stay on the revealed note and not on other notes and you do not need to pull notes from another space in miro where no one is looking but could simply flip them.
As a Agile Coach who facilitates workshops, meetings, and runs training sessions I want flippable cards, where text, backgrounds, images, etc. are editable on each side independently so that I can simulate playing cards, flash cards, index cards, planning poker, delegation poker, moving motivators, etc. cards This could also be beneficial for people looking to run other types of games in Miro as well MVP: can create a flippable card can customize each side can ‘play’ card one direction and then flip it to see the other side Large Feature AC: easily create multiple cards of the same size and shape ability to create set of cards with one side (the ‘back’ of the card) the same text/image/etc. cards can be organized into ‘decks’ or ‘packs’ cards can be ‘shuffled’ cards can be dealt face down or face up ability to look at ‘private hand’ of the cards and sort, organize, etc
I’d like an option to create notepads so that teams can collaborate on text--like Google Docs. I’d like the text tool to be automatically activated and operated like a word processing document, so there’s no need to click and wait for a text box. And have the notepad have pages that flip with different designs (side opening, top opening, lined, grid, lined plus open space on the side, etc). Stickies are so clunky and not really a substitute.
Dear developers,we use Miro on our Samsung Flip WM85B interactive whiteboard via MacOS in presentation mode. The board has magnetic pens for touch input on both the right and left sides. It would be a great improvement if the Miro toolbar could be optionally placed on the right, left and on both sides of the whiteboard. Thank you for your efforts. Best regards,Matthias
Hi Team, I’m an active user of Miro and I would love to see a small addition which I feel is a necessity to me. I hope others might also agree too and it’s adding a rotating degree disk option for the “connection line” feature. The problem with the current availabiltiy is that one can only flip the direction 180 degrees but cannot rotate at any other angle freely. On manual rotation the length is getting compromised and therefore taking additonal time to complete the project. Since “connection line” being a very common feature to use, I would really love to see if it gets added. Thank you for your time!
Haha. D’oh! Update: If you Shift + drag a shape, the current aspect ratio is maintained as you make it smaller/larger, so… this idea is not required. Furthermore, looking at the Shapes help article, I read: Styling a shape You can select several shapes at once and style them all. To create an even shape without changing its ratio, hold down Shift just like you would in any other graphics software. If “style” is the correct term for “resize”, then I prefer “resize”. In line with my idea of Force shapes to be symmetrical, I would like to see more transform options for objects in Miro - implemented for shapes first, with images being next. At the time of this post, when a shape is dragged by the corner, the object can be resized along two axes, but does not lock the original aspect ratio. I would like to see the following: Drag the corner of a shape/image to change the scale (make bigger/smaller) along two axes, while locking the original aspect ratio. Drag the side of an object to change
Dear MIRO Team, I trust this email finds you well. My name is Irving, and I am the Director of Design Technology at Studio PCH, an architect firm based in Los Angeles CA. I am reaching out to express our satisfaction with your products, which have significantly contributed to our design coordination efforts over the past year. Given our positive experience, I am interested in discussing the potential for further collaboration. I believe a virtual meeting via Zoom or a call would be beneficial to explore how we can enhance our design process by integrating new features into MIRO. This aligns with our goal to continually improve our work processes and leverage MIRO more effectively in the future. Would it be possible to schedule a convenient time for a discussion? I am open to coordinating with you directly or reaching out to a designated contact person if necessary. The integration of new features is crucial for us to optimize our workload and ensure greater efficiency in our design end
WOULD LOVE LOVE LOVE TO BE ABLE TO SIMPLY REFLECT IMAGES AND OBJECTS. ALSO A SIMPLE VERSION OF PEN TOOL WOULD BE A HUGE HELP SO I CAN SKETCH PERSPECTIVES. MIRO IS A MAJOR TOOL FOR ARCHITECTS TO HAVEING MORE ROBUST OBJECT AND IMAGE MANIPULATION TOOLS WOULD MAKE IT SING. PASTING TEXT FROM PREVIOUS WISH LIST ITEM THAT IS 3 YEARS OLD BUT STILL VERY VAILD: Haha. D’oh! The option to add a presentation to your board and make it a diashow, so that you don’t have to flip through the slides yourself
i want to move the end point of multiple lines at a timeresizing lines is absolutely useless I want to move lines with the same end point to another end point alongside posssibly being able to flip the side a line point is on so say from left to right top to bottom etc
Our teachers would be really happy about flippable flashcards. For practicing vocabulary and playing games in class that would be fantastic!
Hi, I'm looking for an online whiteboard that can support some features I need for a game: there are elements that can be flipped in the physical version of the game. Is there a plug-in that can replace on digital asset with another one on the whiteboard if a user double clicks on it? (In my case it's cards and hexagon tiles of which I have the front and back side as a PNG file) Or is there a marketplace where I could find someone to develop this kind of thing? Thank you very much for your help!
Hi Miro, thank you so much for doing such a great job with developing such a practical app and also for being so open to feedback. I have more than 10 years of experience in graphic design, including Adobe, Figma and Mural. I am pretty new to Miro but I know for a fact that in 2023, our team will be using it on a frequent basis in a global scale. So would love to kindly ask for some features in coming updates: Send backward ctrl + PgDn Bring forward ctrl + PgUp Select locked items on top of each other with ctrl + shift + drag Flip horizontally and vertically Link to function for grouped items
The problem I have is I use Miro for a lot of our network diagramming. Previously I believe the original line snapping when putting two or more lines between two objects would create parallel lines. Now the lines cross over each other when you put two or more lines. I then have to manually align them in a way to make them parallel. This can be very time consuming when I have to connect a large number of devices together and place a circle over the lines to represent port channels. Having a way to possibly flip back and forth between a crossed line and a parallel line would be useful. I thought it was able to done previously and it seems like the feature was removed. I thought we could just double click on where the lines crossed and it would snap to parallel lines.
