CSV export choose your own 'deviders'Open

Hi all, I am struggling with exporting lots of kanban cards at once to a CSV file. By default the file format is using ‘,’ the comma to divide colomns, but this is not handy because in all my titles and kanban cards I use commas. Would be great if I can choose my own dividing character e.g. ‘ or } for example. If someone know a workaround without a lot of manual work, please let me know :) Kind regards, Cato

Export to CSV without HTML EntitiesOpen

When I currently export to CSV (two frames selected with multiple text elements within them), anything with an ampersand (“&”) in the text is exported with the html entity “&”. CSV isn’t markup so exporting the actual charater rather than the HTML entity would be very useful.

It would be very useful particulaly when you have a large volume of peopel and stickys to be able to extract the automatically added author to every sticky note. Also there is no way to export the comments that have been added to a sticky note in the .csv.

There seems to be no way to export voting result data at all. We use Miro for workshops with large groups of people on separate frames and want to be able to present voting in plenary after the workshop without having to type everything by hand. Even better: if the data exports in CSV format, we could make a graph to show the number of votes per option.

Better CSV ExportOpen

Hello, I successfully facilitated a Decision Jam exercise with 40 people yesterday, 35 of whom had not used Miro before, and it was excellent. We are struggling a bit with the Miro CSV export, which is the best way for the members to revisit this information in the future since we are all from different organizations. First, it appears that when large bunches of notes are exported they do not appear in any particular order in the CSV and are therefore hard to organize and make sense of in the CSV. Also, we used Dots to vote, and it is hard to align the dots with sticky notes on the CSV, so we cannot tell what was voted on. It would be helpful if the CSV explained some spatial representation of what stickies/dots were near each other on the board. Any updates to make this easier, or instructions for best practices to make the CSVs useful, would be greatly appreciated!

CSV export changes the - to some other Character and does not match in ServiceNow tableOpen

When selecting Application Maps (microservices) in support of ServiceNows Service Mapping, the exported text are changed from the actual text within each box in Miro. for example [ my-cool-microsevice-prod ] the string can match within the Service now platform with clipboard, but NOT when one take the csv text and attempts the same search of the same table records within SeriveNow Application Service Table. Miro is altering [ my-cool-p - Container-prod - DataController ] to what ever is in this [ my-cool-p - Container-prod - DataController ]the white space here is actual example of the output CSV with hidden/altered/ miro payload.

Export Org Chart to CSVOpen

The Org Chart app is awesome! And the import from CSV is slick and really helpful. But we also need to export it back to a CSV. I create an org chart from CSV with 20 people on it. I find 10 more people to add. It is much easier to do this via CSV. But I’ve also made small changes to the org chart in miro. Export back to CSV <new> Add the 10 new people to the CSV Re-Import the CSV now with 30 people. This feature would also be useful to connect to other org chart tools that read from CSV.

I love me some USM on Miro. Every now and then, I need to export the board to simple text. The export feature does what it says on the tin, but it would be nice if it could export it in a structured way. Not just a long list of texts. Maybe different columns for each column..?

Export Mind Map as Hierarchy in CSVOpen

Currently, when exporting a Mind Map to CSV, Miro generates a flat list. I want to export my Mind Map as a hierchy so that I can load the data into a spreadsheet or Word doc to make other notations or edits. Here’s an example. My simple Mind Map: Exports to CSV as a Flat list, even worse, there doesn’t seem to be an order to the items in the list. I want Miro to export my Mind Map as a table that shows the hierarchy of the map, as shown below:

Quick Conversion between sticky notes to grid and grid to sticky notes without CSV downloadOpen

I was wondering if an option could be integrated into Miro where you could copy or highlight a group of cells in a grid or a group of sticky notes and the option of duplicating or copy and pasting them as sticky notes or a separate grid. I would also like to be able to do the same from sticky notes, setting the sticky notes up how you would like them to be as if they were in a spreadsheet and highlighting them and being able to make into a grid. I know there is currently a work around to do this by downloading a csv of the selected items and copy and pasting it that way, but I would like to be able to do a quick transition in Miro just for time sake and convenience during a meeting. Potential Use Case: a grid sign in sheet and being able to copy and paste all the names as sticky notes so users could place themselves in a group or team. Then, being able to convert those groups into a grid form again. Another could be users putting ideas on sticky notes and making all the ideas into a gr

Export board history to .csvOpen

A VP recently asked me if I could export audit history for a specific grouping of sticky notes on a Miro board. They wanted to use the information to highlight how different groups of people felt/thought differently about a topic. I was unable to find a way (other than manually reviewing and documenting) to gather that information. It would be helpful if we could export the board history to .csv, or gather this sort of information in another way.
