Hey guys ! I have a grid which I already defined in terms of size, content etc.. But for some reason when I double click a cell and add text it, the text immediately disappears after I’m done. If I create a new grid it seems fine. Wondering if anyone knows what’s the issue here? Thanks !

HiI have a user who’s name is listed as Guest. They were a guest on a board and I deleted their account and invited them as a full member and their account name still comes up with the name Guest. How can I change the users account name from Guest to be the users actual name, which is the way all the other user accounts are?

Hi there. I have 15 stickies, aligned vertically. I originally imported them from Excel. I want to align them horizontally. To do so I capture all of them by dragging the mouse over them. Then I click on the align tool and select ‘Align horizontally’ and nothing happens. It makes no difference if the stickies are in a frame or not. f I group them then the align tool disappears. Any suggestions on why the align tool is not working? Looking forward to hearing from you ...Tom

I have created a table to summarise four different stories.  I want people to be able to pin comments to the text within the table cells, but it seems that comments cannot be pinned in this way as when the table resizes ( additional taxt is added in a cell which makes that row expand, all the rows below move down, but any comments (that were made about the content of the cells that have moved) do not move - so now appear in odd places! Any ideas?

Is there a way to import the photo and then have it have a text caption that is visible and moves along with the photo?

Hi folks, new to miro.  On my iPad I followed the directions and added the dropbox app from the marketplace but then dropbox does not appear on the upload menu.  So I can’t authorize dropbox or use it in any way.  I restarted the app on the iPad and even restarted the iPad itself but no dice.  I don’t think it has to do with my iPad account as I haven’t even gotten that far.  Can someone see if they can install dropbox and get it working on ios? 

Greetings, I am developing a process flow and have hyperlinked some text to external resources. However, when i download the board as an image or a pdf file, the link DO NOT seem to work. Is there a fix for this? I would want a pdf of the flow with active hyperlinks please.  Thanks!

I recently installed a plugin: https://github.com/GreenAsh/code-highlighterSince then I’ve noticed judder/delays like when selecting or moving objects, even on fresh boards with few elements. I’ve tried to uninstall the plugin to see if this is the problem but I cannot see any way of doing this. I’m a little bit stuck because Miro is barely-usable and i have no way of getting back into a default state.

Hi, is it possible to download the board backup via the API? I've looked through the reference and I didn't see anything. Did I overlook it? Is it possible?   Where could I make such feature request?

Hi all - new user to Miro.I keep having this issue resizing “boxes”. For example, I can change with width by hovering over the side and I get a ↔ arrow, but the height can’t be adjusted, just proportionally, which makes it not line up right with other objects. I just want the same ↔ arrow to show up for both height and width, but it just doesn’t want to do that. I made a video, but forgot I can’t upload it because of corporate restrictions on uploading data.Hopefully this makes sense

Is there a way to limit peoples’ access to an single board but not All boards?I am using a free version at the moment.Thanks, 

I could see someone called "visiting visionary" viewing my board (cursor moving around) which is set to be private.They were only there briefly then disappeared. It wasn’t any of my team, they all have their names.Is there any explanation anyone can offer for this?

Is it possible to add a frame around several other frames to make them a sort of collection and then be able to move just the outer frame? Running a series of workshops, I would like to put a big frame around one lot of workshop frames so they can all be easily moved around, categorised with a title etc. but still on the same board if I want to reference them, and not locked or in a group as I may want to access individual frames for moving. Hope this makes sense - I know you can put a frame around them but the outer frame moves without picking up the inner frames.

None of these tips work, unless I need to write some javascript code to enable a simple feature as to moving the sticky notes or any other object that I am putting on my board. Ridiculous. I am about ready to just do this on Figma. The templates make no sense (journey map, user map, affinity map) none of which are aligned to how I would actually use them.

I’m running the desktop app version 0.3.32 on Mojave.  It notifies me about an update, but after relaunch some times later the notification shows up again.  Any idea what goes wrong here?  

I've looked around  the references and know to customize a lot of things like adding logos and such, but still aren’t sure if I can change the height and width or add tags to the cards via web SDK   If there is a page somewhere I can look at to figure out the details of the card object creation?

Hello!Using the miro javascript sdk, I have built a plugin to create shape groups based on a given input. Now I would also like to create the links between shapes programmatically. Take a look at the picture below, please.The links were created manually to show what is the intended result. Since I have reference to the widgets it should somehow be possible to create links between them. But I did not find a corresponding method. Ideas how to achieve that?Thanks, Markus

Hi, I’m a Mac user and usually switch between same-program windows (such as Safari, Excel, Outlook, and so forth) by pressing Command + ` (the key between Shift and Z on an English keyboard).When using Miro, that option does not work, which is really inconvenient. Is there a workaround or something I’m missing?Thanks!

I don't know how to explain this, but in all of my Miro boards, I can't select a font-size less than 10. It seems that is the limit, and there is no way to choose a smaller font.    Why is this feature in the app? 

How can I add a shape around a mindmap node that is currently just text?I thought object transformation might be the solution, but I don't see an object transformation option when selecting a node.  Instead I see the node-color selection.

I’m new to Miro but having watched many videos and browsed community topics,  I think the current mindmaps feature is limited in that only trees can be represented. Any plans to add support for general graph topologies? Graph DBs, like Neo4j, are growing in importance, for example ISO is standardizing the GQL (Graph Query Language), the first time in decades that a new language beyond SQL has been required.  In graph data models, links can connect any pair of nodes (ie concepts in mind maps). In addition both nodes and links can be have a data type associated and have key-value pair attributes. A version of Miro that supports such graph features - and that could interface with Graph DBs might go a long way toward enabling agile, collaborative UI for enterprise informatics.  Neo4j has their own graph visualization platform and there are 3rd party platforms like kgbase.com but these not as sophisticated from an interaction point of view as Miro. Any thoughts on feasibility? 

Newbie question here.  I would like to know if it is possible to change a selected shape in Miro, e.g. edit a current step in a process flow which uses a Preparation flowchart shape and change it to a Decision flowchart shape?  Thanks so much.

I have a free account that I’ve had for years and today I noticed that both the voting and timer buttons have duplicated, with one of each showing that it is a paid feature. Has something changed, specifically with the timer as I have been using it for years - it is going to be removed as a free feature?   By the way, Miro. Some feedback. When I tried to Create this post/question, I was prompted with: You haven't selected a subject. However, nowhere on this page do I see the text ‘subject’ or where to enter one. After some time wasted, I realized that it was Category that was required.
