Looking for a little help and was unable to find an answer via search. I added a swim lane diagram to a board and developed it quite a bit. Another user moved an object and the auto-adjust thing caused the height of one of the swimlanes to expand quite a bit. I’m looking to adjust it back to its previous height, but have had no luck. Despite there being quite of bit of empty space (other than connecting lines), I cannot reduce the height of the swim lane. I am able to select the lane, see the mouse cursor change to the arrows for adjustment, and could drag to make it larger, but something is blocking me from making it any smaller. Any advice?
Hello, despite using the updated version of Smart Meetings beta, it is not possible for me to let visitors add their names. The option field does not appear. We are using the educational plan where it is stated to be included. Can someone please help me out or explain why this is happening?
I have a use case where users would create handoff sheets in Miro. So they might add a section that contains some form data field name/value pair.Name XXXX Company YYYY I understand the tabular data cannot be pulled via App integration.. What is the best way for the user to enter a name/value pair so that the Rest API can pull the data? I would like to see if there is an elegant way for users to input the data and ihe API can map the name-value pairs.
I wrote "Test"on the red post-it, but it shows "Uftu"Hi there! I just got a new Macbook and when i opened miro, got scared with what i saw. The words are shuffled, looking like they're encrypted. It's funny because not all labels are affected. Buttons, links, descriptions doesn't work properly. At the board, texts on post-its are shuffled too. It's happening on Miro via browser and Miro app also.Does anyone has ever saw something like this? Please help me! Ps. it's not a virus, I scanned the mac (that is brand new), and it's only happening on Miro.
Howdy - I try not to foment negativity, but I strongly feel that the new Thumbnail feature for boards is a step backwards. When I’m navigating multiple boards across a project, I am visually scanning the custom thumbnail snapshots I’ve created as an indicator of the board contents. While it’s tedious to perform this preview area action, I’ve baked it into my muscle memory when creating and maintaining boards. For the volume of boards created it’s an essential step in upkeep and historical navigation. The ideal scenario would be a team-wide setting to enable automated, scheduled board content screenshots to create thumbnails, bypassing the need for preview areas to be manually selected. Something more closely approaching real-time visibility into board contents. The reason I say this new Thumbnail interface is a step backwards is that more actions have been introduced between the user and the act of capturing preview areas, in service of thumbnails that provide little utility in distingui
I’m looking for how to find the age or time left on a token. I can call https://api.miro.com/v1/oauth-token with the access_token in the header as a Bearer token. Works great, tells me it’s "type" : "oAuthToken" and other info, but it doesn’t tell me how long I might have left on it. I’d also like to know whether a given token is a refresh token, but when I use the same pattern as above with the refresh_token in the header as a Bearer token, it doesn’t work. I get that it shouldn’t because refresh!=access, but is there any way to get more info about a refresh token? The other option is to always refresh and not care how much time is left, but that feels excessive. While you’re here, can anyone tell me the difference between the /oauth-token and /oauth/token paths? Thanks all!
I can’t seem to authorize the Miro app to work with Slack. I get stuck in a loop where Slack sends me to Miro but the dashboard says: “App authorization has not been completed. Please try to authorize the app again.” Going back to Slack to try to add/authorize the app just takes me back into the loop again.
My question might seems awkward, but I can’t seem to find the Miro’s database design tool that is presented on the following web page: https://miro.com/diagramming/database-design/The screenshot seems to indicate that the tables format can present the field name, and (light gray) the field type that is presented next to the name and not in a different column. However when I use the ERD Shapes or use the Entity Relationship Diagram I do not have the same layout, presentation as the first image for the fields.https://miro.com/templates/entity-relationship-diagram/Can someone point me in the correct direction to do the the same modeling as above?
Has the presentation mode changed?I used to love clicking the presentation icon followed by the play button on the bottom and I would have my presentation for each frame viewed against a black background. It looks as though there has been an update to the presentation mode and although I can present each frame, it does so with the standard white background with the grid. Has the fullscreen (black background) option been removed?
Hello everyone, I am currently creating templates in Miroverse (in collaboration with the Visual Agile coach) to support Agile professionals. I uploaded two of them and the 3rd one is on the way. It would be really helpful for us to get feedback on the usage, look and feel and interest in these kind of templates. You can find them in the template section by looking for Drawify. Thanks a lot for your input!
Last week I upgraded to a paid Starter plan and the collaborators I had working on time-sensitive projects across 3 boards are now alerting me that they cannot edit the boards anymore. I have checked their status and that of the boards. - and have even received an email saying I have 12 active guests that can edit (but they cannot). What’s going on? Do I need to delete them from the board and then send a public link so they are a “visitor” - is this the proper way to share a board with a collaborator without making them a paid team member?Am I forced to upgrade to Business so they can edit the boards once again as a “Guest”?What is the difference between a Guest and a Visitor? Does a board being “public” or “private” make any difference in this issue? At what point will I be forced to make Guests or Visitors paid Team Members? Lots of question and all the articles, emails and pop-up boxes on the platform contradict one another and confuse me.
