Hi, All!

I am a Prezi Classic user since Beta and am recovering from the Adobe Flash purge.

Now that I am using Miro as my digital presentation platform for my college courses, I am super impressed with all of the layout helpers for adding a bit of balance and structure to otherwise scrambled mind maps.

The ability to integrate YouTube videos with a simple paste is fantastic.

Still dreaming of a “Layers Tool” that will allow me to animate through a concept without leaving the frame. The ability to start with a blank frame and add concepts, details, and ideas is super powerful for introducing technical concepts.

Keep those awesome innovations and improvements coming!

All my Best,

-Bill =]

Hey!

My name is Puk, and I’m a Change Manager at The Copenhagen Metro and Light Rail Company. :wave_tone2:

We just started a new project manager education internally and want to use Miro in all our projects, regardless of them being agile og classic waterfall. We do see a lot to win in collaborating in a digital project room, and I’m here to help my colleagues get started and learn how to use Miro in their projects.

Looking forward to jump on the Miro experience

Hello there, my name is Chris. I’ve tried Wrike, Asana, Weekdone, Trello, ZenKit, Monday, Base Camp… I think all of them actually, but none of them spoke to me except Mio. For years now this app has been everything for my business. There is nothing like it (which is also why I keep emailing y’all about how a normal fan can invest pre-ipo :sunglasses: ).

I own www.phalanxfc.com the #1 No Gi Jiu Jitsu brand in the USA. We do more for the Jiu Jitsu industry than any other brand combined. (I could go off on that but I won’t get carried away here.)

I use Miro as my mission control. It’s where the vision occurs, where big picture strategy occurs. Now if only I can figure out how to create repeating assigned tasks in the app I’ll be a happy fella:thinking: .

Nice work on creating an outstanding app visual people.:fist:

Feel free to add any other interesting information or even a fun picture with your pet  This is the best way for all of us to get to know one another!

Hey!

I am Tom. I am an internal Service Design Coach @ KBC group(Banking & Insurance) . I coach teams to really involve customer centricity in their projects and ideas.
Given I am always hopping between finding new ways to do research, ideations, prototyping,.. and translating them into a dummy proof workshop form that is scalable for all the projects that start within our company.

With Miro we have been able to take a step forward given we can translate the best parts of our experiments and good practices from paper workshops to custom templates.

So big fan of Miro and still learning a lot of good practices after a 3 months of intensive use & workshopping.

Hi Miro-ites. I work at an independent schol in Washington DC and am always on the lookout for interesting EdTech tools.  Recently, I’m doing a deeper dive into Miro as I thought of it as just a whiteboard tool.  It is MUCH more.  I also think it has great potential in K12 with a few tweaks.

My name is Mireille (said like Me-ray)    I led the people side of a community based global SaaS start for fourteen years, grew a vibrant online community of one million users for the Adobe Education Community and developed a National Training department at Apple

After taking time to care for my Mom until she became an Angel this past Christmas, I am now looking to resume my career using my considerable people skills in global training (soft skills, software, technology) customers relations, executive coaching, organizational development and online community management.

My interest in the Miro Community is to connect with others and to continue experimenting and looking for a number tools, strategies and techniques in bringing people together to share learn and grow with the focus on translating passions into something we can all believe in.

I’m volunteering in a number of community practices and moderating a number of groups and the idea of using and learning Miro as a way to bring people and ideas together in a visual conversation that resonates with people appeals to me.

Hi Miroes :) ,

I am Marco - an IS researcher and creative collaboration enthusiast from Germany.

My interests lie in the fields of innovation, design thinking, support of collaborative & creative work and - of course - research

I use MIRO primarily to “clean my head”, i.e. arrange my thoughtwork, plan projects, obtain feedback for designs, conduct workshops, structure research and similar stuff.

I would love to help and I would love to get inspired by this awesome community around Miro :)

Marco over and “in”.

Hi Everyone, am Abigail Anioke from Nigeria, a UI/UX Designer. Am new to the Miro Community, looking forward to learning, working and meeting with you all.

Thank you.

Hello there!

My name is Samuel Garza but everybody calls me Sam, I work as a Scrum Master and surprisingly I really enjoy my job because I have the opportunity to interact with many of my peers, learn from what they do and share what I can about my experience and well, about Agile and Scrum.

I live in Mexico in a city called Monterrey where I was born, here the weather is as unpredictable as it can be but it's a nice place to live, specially for it's beautiful mountains and hard working people.

Ever since I discovered Miro I fell in love with this tool, honestly I couldn't do half of my work without it, I hope this community will help me to keep learning from it and expand my experience so I can help others in the near future.

So thanks for having me and if you have some minutes to spare, stop and say hi!

Hey all! I’m Shea (she/her) and I’m a research scientist at Stanford University, studying solar physics (more specifically, helioseismology...).

For about a year now, I’ve also been a team lead for a new inter-institutional science center we’re developing: Consequences of Fields and Flows in the Interior and Exterior of the Sun (COFFIES :coffee::sunny: ). My role is the lead of an “effectiveness” team, and our primary goal “is to identify and help overcome the unique fundamental challenges that large research Centers face” including facilitating collaboration, knowledge integration, goal alignment, and task interdependence. Essentially we are team of scientists working to enable the collaborative science of the COFFIES Science Center as a whole.

I discovered Miro while researching collaboration tools for COFFIES and we have used it fairly effectively so far for cross-science collaboration exercises and organizational planning. Of course, coordinating scientists is like herding cats :cat2: , but they seem to respond well to the interaction that Miro enables, particularly while we’re all working virtually from home but to continue at some level after the pandemic since the Center includes individuals and institutions located all over the world.

I’m always looking for ways to break down any barriers that might be standing in the way of our COFFIES members from being productive together and help them make better use of the collaborative software tools we’re providing to them. I finally joined the Miro Community after finding out that there is a Miro Desktop app that would make the tool even easier for some of my colleagues! Sadly, there isn’t a version for Linux yet so several of us still have to wait (I already upvoted that Community issue  )

Nice to “meet” you all!
