The 20-10-10 Exercise: How Leaders Prioritize Their Lives
Graduating? Retiring? Starting a new company? Changing jobs or industries? Interviewing?
Regardless, you are probably taking inventory of what is motivating you today and will likely be motivating you in the future. This webinar will focus on a proven exercise to inventory what intrinsically motivates a professional to focus on and give critical tools to prioritize those interests in their professional and personal journeys.
During the exercise, we’ll identify:
- Products and Services that uniquely align with our interests AND have proven to be items you are effective at advocating (illuminating where you can be influential)
- Problems that have emerged and remain in focus while you advocate for others to join you in fixing them
- Causes that light you on fire to see them solved within your lifetime but also encourage more than just superficial engagement
After attending this workshop, you’ll be able to:
- Better understand what Products and Services you advocate effectively for, what problems you are likely to stick with, and what causes truly matter as a guide on what you may want to say NO to in order to preserve focus
- Become familiar with a practice that can be repeated over time in moments of transition
- Explore a new interviewing method to help better align potential hires or promotions with their next step
- Create a clear picture of how your interests today stand and create a baseline to know if your interests, passions, or curiosities evolve or remain constant
