I've shared a board where I've disabled the Grid and applied a pleasing light violet background. However, the link I sent to my visitors displays both the violet background and the grid, even though it doesn't look that way on my side. Is there a method to prevent my visitors from seeing this?

@MPRachel - Unfortunately, no, the background grid is a user-level setting. They would have to press the G key as soon as they load the board to hide the grid lines (the G hotkey is the quickest way to do this).

I submitted a Wish List idea post a while back where I have requested the ability to configure the board defaults for everyone - you may want to upvote it here → https://community.miro.com/ideas/configure-board-defaults-and-remove-ads-2675

Hello Robert,

I appreciate your prompt response; it was really troubling me, and I thought I made a mistake. It's quite an eyesore. Additionally, I've observed (though I might be mistaken) that when I insert a frame, it defaults to white and can't be altered. Thanks again; I've voted in favor of that feature. You'd imagine that what you see is exactly what the visitors would see. Stay blessed.

This is super frustrating to me @Robert Johnson if board colors are universal why cant this be - as its tied to the board! I still have to use background colored squares bc of this :(

@Rachel - I’m with ya on this!
